MOT TIME- WHAT NIGGLES TO LOOK FOR??

Recommended Posts

Ok, I want to make sure everything is in order, was thinking

1)Chains

2)Brakes

3)Suspension and bump stops/bushes

4)fluids-clutch/gearbox etc

Anything else I should make sure they check? The place I am taking it have been very lenient in the past with passing but I want to make sure the car is running well for my benefit and seeing as I'm not driving a disposable jobbie anymore. Ta.

Check all steel brake pipe's for corrosion and also check flexible brake pipe steel end's for corrosion and also pipe's for bulge's.

If there is any corrosion give them a clean with a wire brush and either grease them up.

Also check tyre tread depth's,wiper's washer's horn all work
