Roger Blassberg 0 Posted December 21, 2004 After a long drive in heavy rain, I noticed a water leak onto the small shelf integral with the fusebox cover, to the right of the steering wheel. Water had also appeared below this on the carpet by the heel pad. It has not apparently come via the door seal because all around there the carpet is dry. I suspect a leak through the bulkhead/scuttle area. I will investigate the bonnet release cable grommet. Any other ideas for sources and solutions are greatly appreciated. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 21, 2004 Drop the fuse box cover and shine a torch up above the fuses and looms etc and look for water drips coming in from the corner and down the side. Could be a slightly leaking screen seal, blocked drainage holes, loose/missing grommets and one member had water coming in through the side panel due to a rusted panel behind the wing or something allowing water in.
