wawab 0 Posted January 19, 2005 can anyone help with this? will a rear bumper from an early model corrado fit the later models? thanks
Henny 0 Posted January 19, 2005 Bumpers (both front and back) are interchangable between all Corrados. There are differences though, mainly with the trimline around the middle of the bumper... on the early bumpers it curves up and over the top of the bumper at the wheel arches (both front and rear) where as on the later bumpers it just fades out in a straight line. The front bumper is also set up to take the early fog/indicator setup, but can be modified to take the later ones with no major problems... 8)
billinjah 0 Posted January 19, 2005 what mods are involved in fitting the later fogs etc? do they sit nice and flush when its done?
Henny 0 Posted January 20, 2005 no idea, I think it just involved cutting one part of the lamp mounts in the bumper... Use the search, as there is a thread (I think by Dubster82) where there are instructions on how to do this.... This then allows you to use the later fogs and indicators with an early bumper which will sit exactly as they would in a late bumper. AFAIK, there's no way to make the older style lamps sit flush like the later ones... :|
