VW ASSASSIN 0 Posted January 20, 2005 Newbie here just wandering if someone can help me at all. Im buying a Corrado 1.8 16v in a couple of days time. crdo16v 0 Posted January 20, 2005 Congratulations, I've got a 1.8 valver, eats G60's & VR's & spits out the chewy bits, no! It's meant to have 136 bhp (3 less than a mark 2 16v Golf for some reason), 0-60 in about 9 secs. If you want the best out of it rev the b******s off it after the oil has warmed up & run it on Optimax super unleaded. I've got a K & N panel air filter too which may help a bit, it costs about £40 & drops straight in. I've had my 16v for about 4 years & I still smile everytime I get behind the steering wheel.
