Would like some info?

Newbie here just wandering if someone can help me at all.

 

Im buying a Corrado 1.8 16v in a couple of days time. Just would like to no some info on this car eg how much BHP its got, 0-60mph, etc.

 

if anyone can help i would be most grateful

Congratulations, I've got a 1.8 valver, eats G60's & VR's & spits out the chewy bits, no!

It's meant to have 136 bhp (3 less than a mark 2 16v Golf for some reason), 0-60 in about 9 secs.

If you want the best out of it rev the b******s off it after the oil has warmed up & run it on Optimax super unleaded. I've got a K & N panel air filter too which may help a bit, it costs about £40 & drops straight in. I've had my 16v for about 4 years & I still smile everytime I get behind the steering wheel.

Take it easy though especially to start with. Any other info needed put on another post or send me a pm or e-mail. 8)

3 less than golf due to smaller inlet manifold!

 

welcome and i`m sure you wont be dissapointed with the valver (i`ve had one

for 2 1/2 years and only now i`m hankering after a 6 pot!!!!!

And remember, its not all about performance! Its the whole ensemble, including the looks people give you as you pass by, and the occasional thumbs-up from other v-dubbers :) Hope you enjoy it!
