Trimsport site

Recommended Posts

The Freeserve address is out of date. I spoke to them a few months ago and apparently, they can't update it or take it down because they've forgotten the password :)

i think the phone number is still correct though. 01460 242294

As for http://www.trimsport.co.uk, it looks like their DNS has gone somewhat wonky.

Henny, your ISP has probably got a cached DNS entry which is why it's still working for you - if that records stays as it is, then it won't much longer.

I'm sure if you ask Andi nicely for (yet another) mod, you can just add a line of header that forces the page to not be cached?

Edit: I haven't checked which (if any) of these are on the forum at the moment, but...

PHP scripts often generate dynamic content that must not be cached by the client browser or any proxy caches between the server and the client browser. Many proxies and clients can be forced to disable caching with:

<?php

// Date in the past

header("Expires: Mon, 26 Jul 1997 05:00:00 GMT");

// always modified

header("Last-Modified: " . gmdate("D, d M Y H:i:s") . " GMT");

// HTTP/1.1

header("Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate");

header("Cache-Control: post-check=0, pre-check=0", false);

// HTTP/1.0

header("Pragma: no-cache");

?>
