Rustynuts 0 Posted January 30, 2005 Hi folks, i am new here. Today i put down a deposit on a G60 that was great exterior and engine wise, though the interior was a little shoddy. Basically I got some VR6 black seats in my Golf and was hoping to find some door cards that will match. Do they just swap over as i know that the electric window switches are in a different place. If they do and anyone knows of any going drop me a PM, ta
Blue_Joe 0 Posted January 30, 2005 Hi Congrats on joining us all in Corrado ownership The late spec door cards are a straight swap except that you have to extend the wiring for the swiches. Other than that nothing extra to do. However if you wish to purchase a set of early front door cards I have some for sale that have been recovered in Ash Black soft leather. Excellent job was done. They however currently have Audioscape door pods fitted to them. If your interested there are 2 options. You can buy them off me with the custom pods fitted that take 6.5 speakers. Or I have the original poor pockets that I can refit to them. However prcing will be quite different between the 2 as I would need to but the pods again. But I did get a deal on them so would let the pods go fpr what I paid on them as opposed to what they normally cost. Let me know if your interested Ps. I'm also not far form you in Birmingham

Rustynuts 0 Posted February 2, 2005 I have been advised that actually it may not be as simple as extending the loom as the switch connectors are different alledgedly. Can someone confirm that this is the case. Cheers
biggrim 0 Posted February 2, 2005 Check out the knowledge base. There is a how to on it.
Rustynuts 0 Posted February 3, 2005 Nice how too, though i am a tad confused in that it says its a how to for the electric windows, but reads like its a how to for the electric mirrors. Am i just being stupid?
biggrim 0 Posted February 4, 2005 Oops, my bad. It is for the electric mirrors NOT the windows! Tis the one you are after matey. I'll need to get that changed. Oh Dinkus, where are you? Can you change it for me matey? 8)
