do you recognise these ??

i bought these to replace the mounting on my vr6 but they look different

the front mount base seems bigger, i was assured they were for a vr6

ps . changing the oil to synta silver at the same time so i'm holding off the mounting til i get a reply :-)

bol*%$s , theres no way it will fit mine has three bolts on the front mount

oh well not all is lost , it looks as though the mounts are the rear mount and gearbox mount

at least i can renew these and then get a jmr or vibratech for the front :-)

 

isnt a lot of room to get to the rear mount :-(

Yep, the one on the left is for the Box and the right hand one is the rear one. Glad you've gone rubber on the box (in place of hydroelastic orginal cr@p) but what make is the rear one? Is it uprated?

i dont think it was uprated kev , made by topran ? i think its oem , not sure , i got them both brand new for £30 ( off a mate who never got around to fitting them ), so i thought they have got to be better than the 12 year old ones that are on there, fair bit of play in the old ones

just need either a jmr or vibra tech front mount now :-)

 

nightmare to do the rear ones , lots of socket extension bars linked together :-)

 

the oil filter was a pain in the ar*e , it was tight as a tight thing :-(

then i found the 36mm socket i use on my bikes rear wheel fit and it was all good

Just changed my gearbox one, what a nightmare to get the two 1/2" bolts out, the left one rounded off and about 3 hours later I managed to track down some stillsons small enough to get the mofo out. Many of my knuckles have no skin left on them!!!

willwoll100, lol yeah mate a nightmare ! did both the rear ones and changed the oil and filter today ......knackered now :-)
