Lowering my corrado 1.8 16v

Recommended Posts

Hi there newbie ere, drive a 1.8 valver not bad, as i am 22 and insurance is a killer lol anyway to the point, i have 7.5x17inch BBS RX rims on a 35et with 205/40/17 rubber and i was wondering how low the car can be dropped without any arch modds? all advice will be most appriticated, also if i go very low is there any chance of knocking out the swivel joints or anything like that?

Cheers

Dirtysouth, Welcome to THE Corrado Forum. As James has said, you should be

able to drop it quite alot -60mm +. And removing the inner wheel arch is a good

idea. ( Rubs on full lock, possible MOT issue ) Good Luck !

At a guess it could have something to do with the 50 profile tyres. Also is the back lower than the front? Do you have ICE - Sub etc? That is all exteded weight....

The back is abit higher than the front and dont have any subs in boot yet,but if i put 17s on it would still catch i think even with 40 profile
