Scruffythefirst 0 Posted February 12, 2005 No reason why not, but to do it properly will cost you more than an engine swop. You'll need low comp pistons, new engine management, intercooler, lots of new pipework, intake and exhaust manifolds, new exhaust downpipe, probably a new set of cams on top of a full engine re-build - as your changing pistons you might as well re-build the whole thing. Scruffythefirst 0 Posted February 13, 2005 If you do it yourself maybe £2-3K You could do it for less if you do what the zeetec turbo boys do and use a decompression plate instead of low comp pistons, megasquirt for the ECU, not sure where you'd get intake and exhaust manifolds they may have to be custom made (also depends on how much space is available and what the original induction system is like.
