wawab 0 Posted February 17, 2005 my corrado died last friday, was driving to work & started losing power in 4th gear so tried 3rd & second then it just cut out all together. AA man came to the rescue & said the distributer was f***ed so he towed me to a garage. My mechanic has replaced the dizzy & it was running fine til he took it for a spin. wawab 0 Posted February 28, 2005 still not running properly. mechanic thot there was something wrong with the exhaust that is choking the engine & hence losing power. another suggestion i got was that the CAT has been removed to make way for a straight thru s/s system & it just doesnt like it. has been known that performance exhausts & air filters can cause a drop in power OR even NO power in some cars.
