Help with Scorpion **Edit* COBRA ** NU1? Alarm/Immob

Recently bought a VR6 thats fitted with, from memory, a Cobra Nu1 Alarm/immobiliser.

 

It was turned off when I bought it via the key on the main alarm unit, the seller said that the key fob battery needed replacing.

 

I replaced the alarm fob battery, but when I switch the alarm unit on, the siren sounds continuously and I cant turn it off with the fob, the fob does nothing.

 

I have tried disconnecting the battery for a moment then trying again, but to no avail.

 

Is there a simple reset method for this, or do I have a problem with the remote fob or the alarm system itself?

 

I think its the original alarm fitted back in 1993. Can anyone recommend a good alarm fitter/repairer in the manchester area?

Thanks for the help but I've just got home and realised its actually a Cobra system, doh!

 

I will do a search on Cobra
