how do I enter radio code????

Hi, disconnected my battery earlier and have now lost code on radio - now displays "safe mode". I know the code but not sure how to enter it. Anyone any ideas :?:

try this

press button 1 x times for the first digit of the code

button 2 x times for the second digit of the code

button 3 x times for the third and 4 x time for the four

 

where x is the number

 

so if the code is 1234

press 1 once

press 2 twice and 3 three times etc
