Apparently they only heat up just enough to get the water in the nozzles above freezing point, so the term 'heated' is a bit of a misnomer and some people might imagine steaming hot water coming out of the jets! Although saying that, I knew someone that wrapped the washer bottle output hose round a radiator hose and he did get piping hot screenwash in the winter, LOL!
