Campaign 0 Posted June 28, 2003 Capri Vs Manta- Capri for me looked great in the day and big V6 Ahh, but you're discounting the Manta 400 there aren't you - had a mate who called himself "MantaMan" - he had about 6 of them, and went over to Germany to buy a 400 - Christ that thing was fast. But it was rusted to hell and fell to bits as soon as you looked at it. 8) Eventually he sold all the Mantas (or scrapped them more likely) and bought an S3. Jim 2 Posted June 28, 2003 Some of the Capri's were excellent.. and the one my neighbour has which he keeps threatening to sell which I *really* want to buy... Its a D plate 2.8 version with a turbo technics conversion on it :) I've been out in it before and it really is like nothing I have ever been in for sheer speed.
