StuartFZR400 0 Posted March 30, 2005 I'm looking at the Bilstein shocks for the front. Does anyone here use them? If so, which, and what were the implications? I was looking at the S00 8055, but cannot figure what comes in that kit.
coullstar 0 Posted March 30, 2005 If its leaking then you are better off replacing. Its best to replace both sides when doing this. The shocks themselves dont lower the car its the springs that do that. If you have lowering springs then try shortened dampers as they work better at the lower ride height. Loads of these going about so just do a search to see what best suits you.
StuartFZR400 0 Posted April 8, 2005 Nobody uses the Bilsteins then?
bigbluec 0 Posted April 8, 2005 I do on my valver and absolutely hate them. I bought the Bilstein Sports last year with the 35/40mm drop and it's the worst damping i have ever encountered. Can't wait to change them.
Ice White Socks 0 Posted April 8, 2005 Yep- I use the Bilstein Sprintline spring/ shocks and they are lovely- although a little hard- seems to be just about the right lowering height as well Cheers
coolrado 0 Posted April 8, 2005 probably better off going for the boge turbos if you want to keep the original ride quality
