Alloy Handbrake Handle? Anyone got one fitted+who does them?

Hey all,

 

I'm looking for an alloy handbrake handle for my Corrado. Has anyone purchased one and fitted it to their C and have a pic of it fitted ? Where did it come from and how much etc. ? Not looking for anything too chavvy just something nice and subtle to match other alloy / chrome bits in my interior ?

The one I'm selling doesn't fit my Corrado, hence me asking where I could get another one,

so I was right about that then?

 

I've yet to find a nice one which does fit the Corrado without modifying the center console due to the narrow slot the handle recesses into when down... :(

 

On a more positive note, the leather standard handle is only £25 from VAG and is still available... ;)

I'm sure there's plenty of folk have a standard one fitted.

A quick look through the Member's Rides section should reveal some pics.

 

If you look at the pics of my old silver 16v C via the link in my signature.

You'll see I had a chrome handbrake sleeve. This fitted perfectly and came from http://www.trimsport.co.uk

The only catch was I had to keep the standard black handbrake button.

Maybe someone else knows how to replace it?

took these for you today only cost a few pounds on ebay made by vtec i think had to cut about 10mm from the rear end or it will catch the consul

whenever i asked trimsport for one at shows etc never had any told me all he does is cut a bit off the mark 2 ones used sticky foam strip to pad out the sides for a good fit been on a few years with no problems

Yeah, cheers for that, looks like the Golk one is a Trimsport item as it looks identical to the ones I saw at Malvern on Sunday. Just a bit of a hassle, as the guy at Trimsport says he need to know the exact model number of the actual handbrake assembly in order for him to give me a correct one (3 choices of Corrado fitment available).

 

I also quite like the MOMO metallic ones and I think someone on this forum has one fitted to their Corrado ?
