Can someone help? early VR6 help needed.

Ok, so a friend of mine has a 92’ VR6 and is getting no spark. He has replaced his coil with a new OEM one; new OEM distributor, new plugs, and his wires are only about 6 months old.

 

He is still not getting any spark. What do you guys think the issue may be? He needs to get his car back on the road as soon as he can.

No spark with a new coil, distrib and leads generally points the way of the ECU not switching it on.. So we're talking about ECU relays, ignition switch, immobiliser or the dreaded crank position sensor...
