radodale 0 Posted May 8, 2005 am giong to be getting the VR turbo'd and have as yet made no serious enquiries. i am wondering who out there has done this, what is the extent of what they have had done, the cost and what BHP this has given. i have been looking at EIP tuning's manifold as well, anyone had any experience or heard if these are good or not? BigTartanJudge 0 Posted May 8, 2005 Nice conversion and up to 350 BHP available reliably without going for forged rods and pistons etc. But remember everything you buy from the states will be made for LHD cars so will prob need refabricated etc. Also some conflicting opinions on whether you need to use stacked head gaskets to reduce CR or another method. A guy I know has a 12v VR6 Turbo Rallye, 450 BHP ish and was built and mapped by Stealth Racing.
