Sagged Rieger Grille?

Recommended Posts

I keep meaning to do something about this, but have never got round to it  My Rieger Grille has had a sag in the middle of it since I bought it... now I've noticed mines not the only one like this, and that there are actually others that are perfectly straight... so how do I make it straight?

Mine (Saggy):

Someone Else... (not saggy):

Any Ideas?

Cheers VR6, theres not too many solutions suggested, however I did find this:

Yes it did sag at first due to the need to bend both ends to get them to fit above the headlights and fit all five tabs into slam panle. What i did was did away tabs at the top of grill and then drilled a couple of holes in the slam panel lip and used these to pull up the grill to the panel. I then added a couple of MFI screw hiders colour coded to the car to hide the screws. This pulled the grill up in the middle to staighten it up

So I'll give this a try at some point... unless anyone else has any other suggestions?

Cheers, Chris
