electric recaros blowing fuse

i have a problem with my recaros, the fuse keeps blowing

i have replaced it several times, you can be sat in the car without operating the seats and the fuse will blow itself any ideas?

i havent got any ideas for you mate....but ive got a question if you dont mind?...

 

have you taken your seats out ever?....if so do you know how to remove the plastic strip covering the runners?....mine have some sort of clip holding them there whereas the standard seats just pull off...

mine kept blowing fuses.there was some chafed wire on the drivers seat.it was under the plastic trim on the door side.

 

i think where the seat had been tilted to allow rear access the wire had worn through and was earthing on the subframe.

electric recaros have these little tabs on top of the plastic runner covers...theyre a pig to get off.....
