where to take my G60?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone could give me advice as to where to take my G60. it's done 100k, charger was replaced 4k ago, and had been serviced by prev owner before it was fitted by a friend. he checked the seals and oils etc and said everything was fine.

i'm doing 20k+ per year and want to know that the rest of the engine is running okay. have considered chip and pulley, but with travelling im doing its prob not the best idea at the moment.

does anyone know anywhere more local to bristol than TSR? i'm considering making a holiday of it and going to G-werks? Any idea of costs involved in a checkover/tune-up?

Thanks,

Baz.

Yep - especially if the charger has been replaced! - the old one must have blown so you need to check if everthing was cleaned out properly... was the boost return pipe removed and blanked?

the old one had blown, but the boost return pipe is still present. whats the advantage of removing it?

everything was checked through when new charger was fitted, but would be good to know a specialist has looked at it.

J*** SDP, but its inca blue and i bought it from a friend who has owned it for a year. before then it was in a terrible state, based in oxford.

the prev owner didn't look after it at all and need shooting, so we'll hop it wasn't you!!

Nah, wasn't me- honest! Mine was J18 ACC and was aqua blue, in pretty good condition. Loved that car, although it drove me nuts too!
