Photoshop wizardry or picture required!

My mate has a black Mk4 GTI and is toying with the idea of replacing the silver VW badge on the front with a black one.

 

I'm not too convinced, because I think you need a contrast of colours for this to look good. However, in the interests of science, does anyone have a picture of this combo or have a picture they could photoshop?

Ah no matter.. found a stock pic on the net..

i like.. looks a lot better than the badgeless grills that have the semi circle at the top to fill the gap where the badge sits.

Was at the dealers on saturday and saw a black MK4 being fitted with a black badge - looked very good!
