You'd be better off asking these guys mate!

Similar stuff to Corrado VR6s mechanically really....although Highlines had 288s and simplex upper timing chains as standard, so no real engine issues to look for tbh.

There are many Golf out there that people think are Highlines but are not. The V5 will have Highline on it. They came in two colours, black and mulberry purply colour. The VR6 badges are square and they have no arch trim or sill trim. Inside you should have heated leather seats with aircon and a wooden gearknob.

aye and no. classic green storm you could buy withoutt he storm badge.

black highline, you cant.

they've got different type of badges, puddle lights in the doors, a different centre console alltogether the wooden gearknob coullstar said and black a,b and c pillar trims.

only highlines came with these things.

and if course the mulberry has the purple leather which is a big yes or no for most folk.

a bit like marmite

my G/F has a black one :)

I hate Marmite but I love my purple leather. I'd go for the Highline, otherwise you'll end up buying Highline bits to try and spec it up.

 trust you!!!

i like the purple too. the two tone doorcards really lift it i reckon.

and of course, it says highline on the V5 again as coulstar stated. another thing Storms didnt have.
