Scott 0 Posted May 27, 2005 Hi Guys.... its been a while - is everyone well? I was wondering today after spotting a very tidy storm on the M65 if anyone has seen or heard of my old VR6? :?: I would love to know how its getting on...
CazzaVR 0 Posted May 27, 2005 I haven't am afraid. Did however see your 200 SX in a magazine! Looked absolutely fantastic by the way :thumbleft: Was surprised to see it wasn't a Touring though :?:
Scott 0 Posted May 27, 2005 Thanks Andy - I'm not a fan of leather interiors hence why I went for a non touring spec'd car - its rarer for starters ;) My car is luckily enough to have a few factory options that the touring cars dont get so I'm not too bothered :)
CazzaVR 0 Posted May 28, 2005 Prefer leather, but on hot days it's horrible! What other options have you got then? Not much difference outside, apart from the side skirts are they?
Scott 0 Posted May 31, 2005 Standard Spec V Touring Spec Touring has these extras: Passenger Airbag Leather CD Multichanger Sideskirts Thats it ;) My standard spec car has: CD Multichanger Factory fitted stainless sill plates Factory fitted plastic headlamp covers (essential as headlamps are £500 a pop) So I lose the leather (that I dont like) and the side skirts (that I dont want as they cause bad rust as they trap dirt / water in) and the passenger airbag that I do need ;) Car is being rolling roaded next month - expecting in the region of 290bhp / 280lbft torque ... :)
CazzaVR 0 Posted May 31, 2005 Be interested to see your results. Think the SX is the best value sports car around- you get so much kit and performance, the S14A looks great, and there aren't that many about, rear wheel drive etc etc.
Scott 0 Posted May 31, 2005 Its a great car - no doubting that.. but every time I see a sweet VR6 on the road I think 'maybe its time for another' ;)
Rawhide 0 Posted May 31, 2005 Scuse me.. can I but in and ask what sort of MPG do you get out of the 200SX? I'm mostly interested in motorway mileage on a standard spec car. I'm looking for a replacement for my VR6 and the 200SX is ticking a few boxes for me. I used to have a Sunny GTiR but I got rid of it as it did 18-22mpg everywhere. Scott 0 Posted May 31, 2005 The 200 is defo better on fuel than my old VR6 when I'm running it at standard boost - I get around 30mpg up to about 38mpg on the motorway.... stick it on high boost though and I get 20 - 22mpg :)
