cookie 1.8 16 valver 0 Posted June 3, 2005 firstly appologiase if it shouldn't be here but went on the fact it's inside   I have just been playing with my tacho as it wasn't working, another bodge it job ! I started inspecting the circuit board and noticed that there is a component blown, if you look on the side view between 1500 and 2000 rpm on the guage, it seems to be (what's left) a brown type resister/transister and wondered if anyone can get a picture or can identify what it is so I can replace it ? Good news is though I have got it working again by puting it back in the cluster correctly ! Thanks guys Dave (again) :)

VR6 0 Posted June 4, 2005 You seem to like working on cars Dave! Want to replace my radiator for me?
cookie 1.8 16 valver 0 Posted June 4, 2005 no what you mean, like prison here if your not out in time, but it's crap weather so practice and racing hasn't been on. lol vr6, still learing lots not done a radiator on one of these yet. the rado is a great car to learn on. I have a calibra too which i am learning so much on. Considering I work in an office Im not doing bad these days ! Managed to get the rado idling well now and still going around replacing the missing bolts ( and hopefully will get the black smoke stopped soon and can start on the bodywork. VR6 0 Posted June 4, 2005 A lot of it depends on where abouts you are on the Island as well. I'm up in farmhill in Braddan so I can just about get to anywhere on the Island once the roads are shut. Yeah I think it is a nice car to learn on, although perhaps not when it comes to the VR engine itself IMO. Quite looking forward to doing the rad actually. Is yours the red valver?
