what questions to ask seller

have found one locally a VR6 that is, its M-plate, 120,000 miles, dark green, has recaro leather and is a very nice example

 

i know to check if the timing chain has been changed.

but what else should i be weary about, as i quite unsure about buying a car of that age/miles

 

he is a mechanic and owned car for 5years, and is well looked after.

 

says he has only had some sensors etc cause problems in the past
