Aftermarket Leccy Window Switches - Help please??

alrighty peeps,

 

my first post as a 2 week owner of a 90' 16valver.

 

My Corrado has had a aftermarket electric window kit fitted and one of the switches is knackered - anybody got any idea of where i might get one from. Cant seem to find any electric life UK sellers, the US site is still about and ive emailed them but they havent replied

You should be able to use any e/window switches three terminals one in and two out ,each out for opposite sides of a reverseable motor ,you may also have an earth that's for the switch led .cheaper to change the two

 

just get a voltmeter on test the wires

As said above... although I know randal on here has aftermarket electric windows and his switches have more wires running to them than the standard VW kit - it might be worth PMing him as I'm sure he can tell you a bit more about his set up (it was fitted before he bought the C though)

Blimey loads of replies, thanks !!! - yep the switches are different to VW ones - they do seem to have alot of wires and do not sit flush, Ive since found out that my local Fast Road shop used to sell the electric life kits so the owner is going to have a look down the warehouse for me. will try and get a pic done done today.
