Blinky16v 0 Posted July 20, 2005 Hi Guys, I have a new ignition switch, I removed the multi plug from the current ignition switch and simply plugged it into the new switch and used a screwdriver to turn it. All the ignition and electrics came on but the car would not start. Is this expected? My mechanical knowledge is pap so this sorry if this is a silly question Cheers dudes! I have been birching myself. in my haste I forgot to plug the Starter ignition lead plug into the back of the Solenoid :oops: Thus it would not start...
