Fuel

Recommended Posts

ok so i get sorta bored and decide to go for a drive.

i didnt ramp the car or go no more than 80 i was watching my fuel gauge and the needle kept going up and down all the time it went soo low at one point i nearly went to the garage to put some more in but noticed in time that it went up again.

is this a common problem in most cars or is it just a little niggle that happens every now and again?

thnx

it just depends on whether you're going uphill/downhill or left and right mate.......if you think about it the fuel is moving around in the tank from side to side....its even worse in older cars!!

My C has had 2 gauges bugger up, and they used to go all over the place, once the fuel needle went all the way round and sat on the temp needle!

My C does seem to suffer from extremely active fuel needles, and in my case that also applies to the temp needle as well. :)
