monVR6 0 Posted August 1, 2005 Seems to be a day for me asking techy stats questions ! I understand the rev limit of early VRs was 6900 revs - and for later cars, 6400. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 1, 2005 I think only the Corrado got the higher rpm limit. Another factor in the 2.8's apparent lack of bore wear (compared to the 2.9) do we think? Anyway, the limit is set on the chip, so you can guess how it's changed :) There isn't much benefit in N/A form.... it's not making power up there.
