pimp 0 Posted July 24, 2003 The same happened to me a coupla weeks ago. They are tinted but try and get a VW window as opposed to a different make. RAC windscreens tried to fit a cheaper glass and it wouldn't sit right. They have just ordered a new glass from VW with a new runner. Not sure of the price though, soz. Be careful as the glass is bonded to the runner. Make sure you clean it properly and allow time for the glass to bond properly or it won't fit. Goodluck. Steve.
