Shaggy 0 Posted August 31, 2005 My Sliding fan blower control for the changing between screen, face etc, seems to be jamming somewhere? i can only really get it to blow on screen or at feet, the slider seems to stop before getting all he way accross to the left and if i keep pushing it over the sliders jumps accros but nothing changes? any ideas on what maybe getting in the way, would it be something near the mechanism? sciroccotune 0 Posted September 6, 2005 if its like mine (and I hope its not) it could well be the lever and cog at the base of the unit. This controls the flap that controls air flow direction. I have been trying to get a new cog from VW for months but they cant find it on there system - the diagram that they have is incorrect!!
