Taggart 0 Posted September 1, 2005 I recently replaced the full beam indicator LED and the full beam appears to have stopped working (although the LED now comes on). When I flick the stalk the headlights go out and the sidelights go on. I have an uprated loom (not sure if it's Gavs), and the full beam worked perfectly well before I took my dash apart. Any ideas? cheesy 0 Posted September 1, 2005 At a guess the fuse has blown on the loom or the relay has died chris
Taggart 0 Posted September 2, 2005 But it worked perfectly well before I replaced the broken LED.
Taggart 0 Posted September 2, 2005 The plot thickens, it's only the drivers side sidelight that comes on.

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 2, 2005 And what a fine peice of automotive engineering it is too  I lost my beams too once and it turned out to be the exposed inline fuses that were crudded up. Wrap them in tape is my advice.

Taggart 0 Posted September 3, 2005 They look pretty much like that Gav.
h100vw 0 Posted September 3, 2005 PM sent with my number. The only light on the front that works is a sidelight? Very strange. To start, prior to calling me if possible, I would check all the lighting fuses, in the fusebox and the loom. Swap the 2 relays in the loom around and see if anything changes. Try reconnecting the std wirng back onto the drivers side headlight and test the lights. Also, you do have the ign switched on don't you. Gavin
