what and where to buy Ignition leads???

i need a new set of ignition leads as ive mullered one changing the plugs (dont ask)

 

i thought i might as well get some pukka performance ones, what shall i get and where from?? do they have any downsides other standard ones??

Nology Hotwires are the very best, they've got seperate earth's for each wire but you can't get them in the UK very easily. I settled for some Magnecor KV85's which were about £60 delivered from here and they're a definite improvement over the rubbish no-name silicone leads I had before:

you can order the nology ones in ripspeed/halfords but they cost £170, i couldn't bring myself to spend that on leads, so i got the magnicor ones

I changed my BBT leads, (which were very poor quality), for some Magnecors and very happy. Think they were about £90 for six of the 8.5mm leads, which just fit in the VR6 guides...

I have Nology leads! Can't commenton the quality, never had standard ones.

for some reason the leads for the 16valver are twice as much as the G60 ones !!

 

is it best to buy the 8.5 mm ones or the 8 mm ???

8mm will be fine. I'm sure the 0.5mm doesn't make any difference at all unless you've got upgraded ignition. The 8.5mm's and 8mm's are identical bar the extra 0.5mm extra insulation.

i run blue ignitors from c&r enterprises, had em getting on 8-9 years with no probs so they must be okay
