Did any C's come with black headlining???

Recommended Posts

Nope

You can dye it with professional dyes, bananaman did his. But he's not on here anymore I don't think!

However an ALL black interior I think could possibly be a little much!!!

It could be re-trimmed using anthracite alcantara or dynamica with a foam scrim backing to make it soft, the sunroof switch suround could easily be covered in mb-lex (synthetic leather) or painted black (would work if done right). G40's and Golf GTI's had all black headlinings and they did not seem overly dark.

early Corrados have a black sunroof switch... :p

Do you mean the switch or the surround?

Mine has a black switch, but its set into a beige sort of panel, thats the bit I meant you could re-trim or paint

the beige sunroof motor cover paints rather well with some interior plastic paint, as do the A, B and C pillar trims, door pockets, rear shelf mounts etc etc etc... ;)
