PoorMansPorsche 0 Posted September 28, 2005 like it says, or can the standard one be dyed or anything? as id love to have a completely black interior. (no chrome bits in my car !!) cheers Brett
Blue_Joe 0 Posted September 28, 2005 Nope You can dye it with professional dyes, bananaman did his. But he's not on here anymore I don't think! However an ALL black interior I think could possibly be a little much!!!
Cnut 0 Posted September 28, 2005 Plus u would need to find a way to make the sunroof switch black, so could be tricky!
gsbellew 0 Posted September 28, 2005 It could be re-trimmed using anthracite alcantara or dynamica with a foam scrim backing to make it soft, the sunroof switch suround could easily be covered in mb-lex (synthetic leather) or painted black (would work if done right). G40's and Golf GTI's had all black headlinings and they did not seem overly dark.
Madjackal 0 Posted September 28, 2005 why not use black marker pen on the sunroof switch!
dannyc 0 Posted September 28, 2005 I think it would look good, go for it!

gsbellew 0 Posted September 28, 2005 early Corrados have a black sunroof switch... Do you mean the switch or the surround? Mine has a black switch, but its set into a beige sort of panel, thats the bit I meant you could re-trim or paint
Henny 0 Posted September 28, 2005 the beige sunroof motor cover paints rather well with some interior plastic paint, as do the A, B and C pillar trims, door pockets, rear shelf mounts etc etc etc... ;)
