Stan 24v 0 Posted October 13, 2005 Ok here goes. My mate has an A6 1.8T and has had an oil leak. He had the rocker cover gasket changed a few months back. The garage (VW Sepcialists) told him that the engine is prone the the rocker cover warping due to the heat from the manifold and Turbo, and that this can cause the leak, and that this is a COMMON problem.
