paddyg 0 Posted October 17, 2005 My 16v doesnt have the sunroof or e/ windows either. I think its all the early valvers that came without. less things to go wrong i say.
chubbybrown 0 Posted October 17, 2005 Ditto No leccy windows to Faff up no leccy sunroof to scrape and say when selling ' they all do that !' Smart arses call it poverty spec,it just depends how you view it. By not having a sunroof and wind up and down windows you have just removed most of the problems with a corrado. well a 16valver anyway !
Jim 2 Posted October 17, 2005 Butterfly even has a Storm without a sunroof.. bit of a rareity though! :)

task 0 Posted October 17, 2005 I read some where on the net that only corrado's that were made in Mexico where without sunroofs.. dont know how true is that ?
bristolbaron 10 Posted October 17, 2005 task, i can imagine that mexican corrados were only made without sunroofs?
Supercharged 2 Posted October 17, 2005 task, No Corrado's were made in Mexico - they were all built by Karmann!
dinkus 10 Posted October 17, 2005 Some Corrados don't have sunroofs, but it seems that unless you specifically asked for one without a sunroof - you got one. And as Supercharged, says - they were all made in Osnabruck by Karmann.
bristolbaron 10 Posted October 17, 2005 task, No Corrado's were made in Mexico - they were all built by Karmann! good point!
RW1 0 Posted October 17, 2005 task, No Corrado's were made in Mexico - they were all built by Karmann! Ahhhh...... The word is "assembled" at Karmann! But made, ie. the steel was pressed, the glass was floated, the tyres were molded....... Look under the airbox (RHD) on the panel it sits on, the sub chassis box to the bumper hanger inner wing strengthener. What's stamped on it....... ----> "Made in Mexico". . . This is where this myth started. .
