transfering private plates... help!

Could get complicated if you are selling the car but haven't even got a registration document for it! When my colleague applied for the registration document that she'd never received in her name I think it took about 2 weeks. I guess that in theory you won't actually be able to do anything with either the registration number or the car until it's properly registered to you.

Sorry, think I'm getting confused between the two Chris's and which car is which! My last comments should probably be ignored as just realised that it's the car you want to transfer the plate to that hasn't been registered properly!

And i don't legally own mine!

 

I taxed it with the help of a special contact in the post office thus needed no docs!
