Anyone know where i can get....HELP!!!!!! NOT THE LED

Recommended Posts

3mm 12V LED for my Rear Heated Windscreen switch???

Been to both Halfords and Maplins and they were no help!! just had a look on line and it seems Maplins do them!!

Does anyone know if it matters if the LED is not the same colour??

One last thing............. anyone know of anywhere i can get someone to solder it as i dont see the point of getting a soldering kit to do one little crappy LED

AND i am NOT paying £44++++++VAT for a new switch from the Stealers!!!

tahnks in advance!!

nah, their cheapo range does the job just fine, just takes an age to heat up. you'd be suprised how many times you'll use it too. I bought mine for one job and its seen a fair bit of hot solder on solder action since.

You should be able to get those bulbs at any good motor factors.

They are used a lot in Japanese cars and sometimes have plastic or rubber shrouds over them to give the effect of being coloured.
