fog lights

might sound daft but i need to change a bulb in my front foglight but from just looking at them it doesn't seem obvious how they come apart.

Anyone able to tell me?

if it's the early type you have to remove the indicator lens to get at the screws ,remove them and it just pops out the inside edge

dont know about the newer type but guess it will be same

For the newer lights, pry out the indicator light from the inside face with a flat blade screwdriver. There are then two fog light mounting screws to remove, and job's a good 'un.

Also worth taking a trip to B&Q and buying some Zinc plated Self Tappers to replace the factory ones (they will be rusty)

 

The ones you want are 5mm x 16mm No (10's) Pan/Cross head - red bag...

anyone know where i can pick up some of the above screws or equivalent for replacing the screws in my fog lights? i tried B&Q but they don't seem to stock them anymore...i've tried focus as well and can;t find the right size..

you want one of the B+Q warehouse places- they all seem to have a whole aisle just for little bags of screws :)
