steve_16v 0 Posted November 24, 2005 I don't drive particularly fast day-to-day and it averages about 28mpg, on a long motorway run it does close to 40mpg
matthewb1985 0 Posted November 24, 2005 mine shows 50 - 60 most of the time must be something wrong
villie 0 Posted May 13, 2006 99.9 all the time......
bcstudent 0 Posted May 13, 2006 My MFA shows an average of about 28mpg with mostly a mixture of town and B-road driving. It works out to a real-world 31-32mpg though. Quite crap considering the (lack of) performance available.
Trig 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Getting a displayed 35.8MPG over the lat 300 miles on my OBD2 VR. I've worked out about 11% needs to be knocked off that though so about 32.1MPG would be accurate. Pretty damn good for a VR. Check out my Members Galley for all the info.
filski 0 Posted May 13, 2006 mine shows about 26-28 on daily b-roads..
Shaggy 0 Posted May 13, 2006 average around 25 mpg, have seen 45 mpg on motorways occasionally!
Jim 2 Posted May 13, 2006 Bad news mike_g60 - the G60 MPG calculator is preprogrammed with the values it needs to calculate MPG - so they are only accurate for a bone stock 160BHP G60... Believe me when I say that the only way a tuned G60 will ever get near 45 is going down hill in neutral! :) I used to think my G60 was returning decent 30+ MPG figures until I worked it out and it was actually nearer 22MPG :| Anyway.. Golf TDI trip computer #2 tells me i've averaged about 43MPG over the last 1,200 miles. It seems to vary quite a lot but i've even had up to 50MPG coming home from work some days.. fuel economy I will miss quite badly when I sell this car I must say!
