Majik 0 Posted December 1, 2005 Was doing some work to my car and checked my timing with a timing gun, it read 22 degrees initially and then dropped to 18 degree. I didnt disconnect the blue temp switch, the distributor is totally siezed so there wasnt much adjustment. Are there any sensors that could make it run so advanced and has anyone else had a siezed distributor and whats the best way to get it free, i've sprayed some plus gas on it and didnt do much difference. Any help greatly appreciated.

W3RKD 0 Posted December 1, 2005 Thought you had to disconect the BTS? correct you do to check the timing along with holding the rpm @ 2-2.5k but you dont need to unplug it to unsieze the dizzy..
