Active spoiler no longer active

Recommended Posts

Ever since I bought my Flash Red 1992 C G60 back in May, the rear spolier has never really worked as it should, needing the boot to opened and closed to get it going again. :(

I know that it doesn't really have any practical effect on the car, but it does look a bit Porsche 911'ish, which is nice :D

Last month it has stopped working both manually and speed related.

Where do I start trying to fix this little problem?? :?

Any help please.

If you had to open and close the boot to get it working again, it sounds like there might be a broken wire in the rubber bit that goes between the main car and the boot lid - I'd start by investigating in there...

Yep, take off the plastic trim (takes seconds) and have a good look at the connections....

I assume evrything else is working fine? - ie no blown fuses...
