I've had a bad day, busy at work, had to go shopping in Manchester after work, fell down some stairs and i burnt my fingers on the oven, but the best bit... Setting off home after shopping i realised my car has clocked up 66,651 miles in its lifetime and before i get home i will pass 66,666, superstition sets in. As if the devils phone number isn't enough, i will reach it while i am driving along Woodhead Road (A635?), known for its widow-making abilities. 66,666 approaches without a hitch but at exactly 66,667 miles the wipers stop dead with a thud at the base of the windscreen and are still not working, in fact they are firmly wedged in place refusing to budge.
