jenks 0 Posted December 28, 2005 Bonnet catch has got very loose, so i remember reading somewere off here that there was a part(tensioner,clamp,etc) where you loosened off the bolt and pulled the wire through and tightened up the bolt again,thus tightening the wire, however the wee bolt snapped on me! :mad: Im drilling it out and already made a mess, can this part be bought? EDSTARVR6 0 Posted January 9, 2006 So I gave the bolt a couple of sprays of WD-40 and lossened it at the weekend.....didn't break. Managed to pull the wire through a little and retightened. Just incase something went wrong I took out the grill and headlights before closing the bonnet for the first time. All worked well, and now only have to pull the handle a few inchs to pop the hood.
