Part of Bonnet Catch Mechanism?

Recommended Posts

Bonnet catch has got very loose, so i remember reading somewere off here that there was a part(tensioner, clamp, etc) where you loosened off the bolt and pulled the wire through and tightened up the bolt again, thus tightening the wire, however the wee bolt snapped on me!

Im drilling it out and already made a mess, can this part be bought? Could some1 check etka, etc?

cheers!

So I gave the bolt a couple of sprays of WD-40 and lossened it at the weekend.....didn't break. Managed to pull the wire through a little and retightened.

Just incase something went wrong I took out the grill and headlights before closing the bonnet for the first time.

All worked well, and now only have to pull the handle a few inchs to pop the hood.

Wicked :thumbleft:
