Recommended Posts

Recently the intermitant wipe on my C's wipers has stopped working. It used to work but even then seemed very random!! Now its just stopped all together. Anyone got any ideas?????????

Do the wipers only work on one speed setting too - ie the fastest one?

No they seem to work on both speeds. to be honest I generally tend to avoid using the wipers at all costs as the so rubbish anyway!

sounds like the relay has gone for the intermittent wipe, and you say the wipers are rubbish, have you not changed over to the lupo set up yet?

Hm.. if it was only working on the fastest wiping speed i'd have said the relay was to blame. Still might be worth pulling the relay and reseating it just to make sure - that fixed my wiper problems!

Is the wiper relay in the fusebox?

Yep, if you have variable intermittent wip then it's alot bigger than the other relays to spot...

What he said :)

I can't remeber which relay it was to be honest as it was in 2004 that I had the problem! And my memory is awful at the best of times.
