Whats it worth? Seem to be 4k+ on the trader?

mk4's seem to still go for good money (99 is a mk4 isnt it?) when i was looking there wasnt much under £4500, and a good one was more like £5500!

Bodes well for when I come to sell mine! I was hoping to get £5000 for it but thought that was being optimistic!

 

The GT TDI's certainly lose a bit of money if they are not sporting a PD engine...

Mine has lost about a grand since I bought mine I must admit.. I suppose I'm lucky as mine is a PD the same as Jims (but it has leather).. does yours have heated seats, headlight washers, cruise control etc Jim? just out of interest?

Glass Guide gives the following for 129k miles and excellent condition (ie the top trade price);

 

99S - 3180

99T - 3300

99V - 3360 or 3520 if it's a face lifted one.

 

...add a profit margin to get retail.
