BoddersG60, welcome to the forum...

Sounds like it just needs setting up well by a good G60 specialist, not sure where you are based but G-werks is the place to go!

Down south - may be better to take it to Stealth Racing, not G60 specialists but still know more about them that any other garage in the country...

before you take it anywhere, change the blue coolant temperature sender(front of the cyl.head, blue wiring plug), this caused CO's of 12% on my G60, but intermittently.

have you got black smoke coming out of the exhaust all of the time? disconnect the lamda sensor wiring plug (back of the cylinder head, airbox side) does it run any better?

My bets are on that blue sender, or the lamda sensor itself, how can the garage be sure that the lambda sensor is ok?

there are 2 black cotten braided vacuum hoses that connect to the back of the throttle body, one is for the ECU and the other goes to the carbon cannister, the ECU hose connects to the top outlet, if these are the wrong way round then it causes the ECU to go into 'limp' mode and the side effects being black smoke, high feul consumption and generaly crap running.

you can swop the blue and black temp switches around on the plugs to test they are working ok.

Is it down on power?
